Tackling my Packing

Okay so I had 2 suitcases. I needed to fit a years worth of school supplies in one and all my clothes and belongings in the other. This has now turned into 3 cases for school supplies and 1 case for my clothes, 4 altogether :O

The school supplies are vastly overflowing out of the cases. My excitement about teaching out there has got the better of me and have acquired a desire for stationary shopping. Long were the days when I use to get excited about buying clothes, haha.

I was worried about how I was going to fit all my clothes in my final case.

But never fear when JML are here. I purchased these air vacuum bags which you pack your clothes in and then suck the air out to compact them smaller.

Let me tell you this, the cheesy American women on the shopping channel make it look a lot easier that it actually is in reality.

Firstly, I may have packed the bags too tightly as it was a struggle to zip them up tight.

Then one last glance at the instructions....

....and Voila, the feeling of the air being sucked out was rather quite exhilarating, ha.

However, to be honest I am pretty disappointed with them, as the bag didn't go completely flat.

But hey ho, it will do!

Live your life

When you look at your life and you're not happy with the way it is mapping out.

Do something about it.

When your not becoming the kind of person you dreamt you would be.

Do something about it.

When you know in 20 years you'll look back on your life with regret.

Do something about it.

yes yes yes

A couple of months ago my life was 'average' I had a good job, but not amazing.
I liked where I lived but didn't love it.
I felt like I was always waiting for something to happen but never did anything about it.
I now realise only 'you' can make something of your life.

I found out that a new school was opening up in Moshi, Tanzania, Africa. They were looking for quallified teachers. Usually when I see opporunities like this, I would always think how amazing it would be, but never persue it. However this opporunity came at the time that I wanted to take charge of my life and look back on my life at an old age and think WOW.

So thats where I am now, I don't have long untill the big move to Tanzania. I have my own class grade 3+4 (mixed) and I am busy buying things for my classroom.

I love my life!
